"My roommate has a typical firm foam mattress that is not memory foam like this one is. He paid the same price as I did at a big box retailer but this LUCID by LinenSpa 12" Plush Triple-Layer Memory Foam Mattress is much better than his in my opinion. I have the mattress zipped up in a waterproof/bed bug proof case and a sheet on top of that. The case is breathable to keep the mattress dry."

"Also my frame is the metal one recommended by amazxx to go with this mattress so the foam can breathe from below as well. I do notice myself being slightly warmer than usual when sleeping on the mattress but nothing a fan or turning the heat down won't fix. I am very satisfied with my mattress and it works very well for my small apartment and for the price."

"Bought this LUCID by LinenSpa 12" Plush Triple-Layer Memory Foam Mattress twin size mattress for my 11 yr. old son after I bought a twin size Temper-Pedic Simplicity for my 8 yr. old daughter. My wife and I loved her bed but hated the $1015.39 with tax that we paid for a twin. Her bed came with the hard wooden box that replaces you traditional box spring that you place the mattress on. However my son has a Trundle bed and thus did not need the wooden box replacement. "

"While searching the net for Temper-Pedic mattresses only I saw a LUCID ad that showed them being sold on Amazxx. After reading reviews I decided to take a chance on this mattress. What worked for me was I took off the outer mattress case and underneath there is a gauze like skin around the memory foam itself that gets bunched up when the mattress is vacuum compressed for boxing up and that gauze like skin restrains the memory foam from fluffing up perfectly. "A year and half later, I still cannot believe that I bought this LUCID by LinenSpa 12" Plush Triple-Layer Memory Foam Mattress for slightly over $300. I've paid way more in the past for mattress that were not half this fabulous. What have I put it through?

• I weigh about 290 pounds. (I know, I know. But I used to weigh more, so I'm progressing!)
• I sleep on the same side of the bed every night and have not once rotated the mattress.
• My poodle threw up on it twice.

There is no discernable difference between the side that I have laid my fat body on for over a year and the side that has never been slept on. No hollowing, no change in firmness. I love that all I need was Structures by Malouf HIGHRISE Folding Metal Bed Frame 14" High Bi-Fold Platform Bed Base, FULL to go with it. Nothing else at all.
