In the morning I always felt sore because the damn thing would not give in and although everyone else I know loved it - plus I paid $1000 for it, it just did not work for me. I felt bruised and sore and had difficulty finding a comfortable position to sleep.
This LUCID by LinenSpa 10" mattress solves the problem for me because it has a 2 1/2 inch memory foam built in which is soothing to my aching sides and back. I know people say it's harder than soft, but if you ever had the Temperpedic classic you'd know what hard is or the knock off copy which I had. I am finally getting a better night's rest, thankfully and for a very good price too.
OK - it has support in the dense foam beneath the top 2 1/2 inches but that 2 1/2 does it for me. I always had been taught that firm is best - but I guess when you have certain back problems you need a little comfort and this is working for me. The LUCID by LinenSpa 10" Memory Foam smell is slowly dissipating. It's about a week that I'm using.
No lumpiness - very smooth and you will sink in - sometime I move to another spot to sink in fresh. It is much better in mornings with much less soreness in my back - so not completely mushy but definitely not firm firm. I'd say medium with a nice topper of give."

raju" I bought this LUCID by LinenSpa 10" Memory Foam Firm Viscoelastic mattress 4 months back, in first couple of months we did not have any problem. But from the past 1 month we were realized that the spot where we sleep had deteriorated so that we'd sink down into a well every night. We have Reversed our Mattress and used for a week. Even no use at all. we are still using the same mattress. i want to get rid of this mattress. Beware of this mattress. Please help me if anybody contacted this mattress seller."

Dave C" So the LUCID by LinenSpa 10" bed is fantastic. Plain and simple. I am a Rugby athlete which means my body is sore from training ETC. I have no other ailments or any other bad sleeping patterns. All I can say is I was suppose to order the Queen, but I actually ordered the Olympic queen. No problem as Amazon let me send it back and they even paid for the shipping. I just exchanged it to the Queen so it would fit my bed frame..... Again i am a very active and physically active person lifting weights and training for RUGBY. I have never slept better."
