The reason why I bought this Best Price Mattress 8-Inch Memory Foam Mattress is because bed prices are RIDICULOUS at where I'm at. I found it a steal to get it for $223 since my options were limited due to budget constrains.

These beds are a great value and extremely comfortable even with less memory foam then the 10 inch mattress I ordered from another company. They have just the right softness, pressure relief, and support.  Also, I've slept on other memory foam beds like Tempurpedic and although there is a SLIGHT quality difference, it isn't that big of a deal when you compare the prices. 223 vs. 2000.

So far I have absolutely loved this Sleep Innovations 10-Inch SureTemp mattress. Being male and weighing in at around 180, I have not had any issues with sinking through this bed at all. The give in the memory foam isn't super deep anyway and normally just sinks in slightly. More to note on some of the issues I have read about other memory foam mattresses.

I never had any issues with its original smell. It was slightly chemical in odor but I didn't find it to be a problem one bit. It did flatten out completely and had no valleys or sunken in corners as well. A few on here mention that if you wake up sore the first night that it is your body adjust to realignment. It is a great buy for the price!"

"My roommate has a typical firm foam mattress that is not memory foam like this one is. He paid the same price as I did at a big box retailer but this LUCID by LinenSpa 12" Plush Triple-Layer Memory Foam Mattress is much better than his in my opinion. I have the mattress zipped up in a waterproof/bed bug proof case and a sheet on top of that. The case is breathable to keep the mattress dry."

"Also my frame is the metal one recommended by amazxx to go with this mattress so the foam can breathe from below as well. I do notice myself being slightly warmer than usual when sleeping on the mattress but nothing a fan or turning the heat down won't fix. Purchasing shoes and mattresses is not an easy process for me. I went to many different stores to try different kinds of mattresses and did a great deal of online research on customer satisfaction with mattress types and manufacturers.

Because I have always slept on firm or extra-firm tight top inner spring mattresses, I focused on the 3, 3.5 and 4 firmness levels. The second night I noticed that the mattress had become a bit firmer. The instructions ask that the mattress be allowed to expand for 48 hours.

My guess is that the firmness of the mattress base is affected by the expansion of the foam and the amount of air that goes into the foam and the latex top. To me this mattress does not feel like an inner spring, memory foam, or pure latex mattress. The pure latex mattresses that I tried were a bit bouncy and very hard (even for my taste). I find that this Ultimate Dreams Latex Mattress does not require a topper.
